A 30-foot adhesive roll for catching adult flies outdoors and spotting where pressure is building.
Use it where flies are active
This is a long adhesive fly-catching roll for outdoor use. The bright chartreuse sheet opens from a 30-foot roll and provides 3,600 square inches of sticky surface. Cut only the length needed for the spot you choose, then hang it about four feet above the ground. That gives you room to put a section along a fence line, near a waste area, or beside an outdoor livestock-work area without buying a separate short trap for every location. Keep the sticky surface clear of leaves, dust, and objects that could block contact.
Start with a careful look around
A trap works best when you place it where flies are already gathering. Watch the area during the part of the day when the problem is most obvious. Look near damp bedding, spilled feed, manure, or decaying plant material, but do not confuse the trap with cleanup. Choose a visible, open hanging point where wind will not press the sheet against a post or wall. A caught-fly pattern can help show which side of a yard or facility is busier; it is a useful clue for deciding where to inspect next.
Use the catch as a field note
Sticky traps can help monitor adult fly activity. Check the sheet at a steady interval and note where it hangs and how quickly insects accumulate. Comparing two locations over the same period gives a better read than moving the trap every day. If one section loads much faster, inspect that zone for a source or a route flies follow. A trap count is not a complete picture of every fly species, and an adhesive sheet will not remove larvae developing in wet organic material. Pair the observation with a walk through the same ground.
Work on the source, too
House flies and stable flies can develop in damp manure, soiled bedding, spilled or spoiled feed, and other decomposing material. Remove those accumulations and address leaks or drainage that keep a spot wet. The sticky roll catches adults that reach its surface; sanitation takes away places where immature flies can develop. This division of work matters when the trap keeps catching flies: a full sheet may show continuing pressure, but it does not identify the source by itself. Check the surroundings before adding more traps or changing the plan.
Keep the setup useful
Hang the roll outdoors, out of the way of people, pets, livestock, feed, and equipment. Use a secure support and keep the adhesive from brushing against passing animals or clothing. Replace a section when dust, debris, or a heavy catch covers the working surface. Do not put this outdoor roll in a kitchen, feed room, or other indoor work area. For high fly pressure, use it as one physical monitoring and capture method alongside sanitation and the other controls appropriate to the site.
