Fleas in the doghouse and flies in the poultry house are the chores that never end, because the next generation is already growing in the carpet, the bedding and the litter. I.G. Regulator goes after that next generation. It is a liquid insect growth regulator you mix with water and apply where pests breed. The 1.3% pyriproxyfen keeps larvae from advancing to adults in fleas, roaches, flies, mosquitoes, gnats, crickets, litter beetles and ants, so the population stops replacing itself.
On fleas, I.G. Regulator holds reinfestation back for up to seven months, which means fewer repeat sprayings through a long season. One ounce mixed in a gallon of water covers 1,500 square feet.

What it's for
Most sprays go after the adults you can see. An insect growth regulator works on the young stages you can't see: the larvae hidden in carpet fibers, bedding, litter, cracks and the dark corners under furniture. Most of a flea population lives in the environment rather than on the animal, so the places you spray are where the next generation hides. Break that cycle and each new round of adults has less to work with.
It suits anyone who has fought repeat flea trouble: a kennel with a steady stream of dogs, a home with pets that come and go, or a poultry house where flies gather in damp litter.

How to use it
- Mix one ounce of concentrate into one gallon of water. Mix only what you will use for the job.
- Apply the mix to carpets, rugs, furniture and draperies, paying attention to the edges where larvae collect.
- In kennels, doghouses, animal quarters and poultry houses, remove the animals first, then spray the floors, walls, resting areas and bedding where pests collect or breed. Litter beetles in poultry litter take their own rate of 1 ounce per 1,000 square feet, so follow the directions for that job.
- Remove pets and animals before you spray, and keep children, pets and animals off treated areas until the spray has dried completely.
Read and follow label directions before every use.
Good to know
- Spend the spray where larvae live. Carpet edges, the space under furniture, baseboards, under kennels and litter piles deserve more attention than open floor.
- Clean first. Vacuum carpets and pick up bedding, droppings and clutter before you spray, so the mix reaches the surfaces where the young stages hide.
- Sanitation does the rest. Flies breed in wet organic matter, so remove soiled litter and spilled feed and water.
- Store it sealed. Keep the concentrate in its original container, upright, in a locked area out of reach of children and domestic animals, and away from food and feed.
An IGR does not kill the adults already on a pet, so pair it with the adult flea control you already use. A pump sprayer that puts out an even spray and a good vacuum for carpets round out the kit.
