Rats and mice work the feed room, the barn aisle and the brooder house, usually in the spots you don't check every day. Rodentex Multi-Feed Bars put bait right on the run they travel. Snap a bar along its scores into one-ounce pieces and one box gives you several placements along walls, in corners and by gnawed openings.
The active ingredient is diphacinone, an anti-coagulant. Molded nibble ridges get rats and house mice chewing, and the bars are made for all-weather use. They resist mold and moisture, so a damp barn doesn't ruin your setup, and each bar is individually wrapped so the rest of the box stays fresh until you need it.

Why bait bars work along the run
Bait works best where rodents already travel. Rats follow the same routes between their cover and their food, and they tend to run along walls and into corners. A bar you can break apart lets you set bait at several points on one run, instead of one big station in the wrong spot.
Traps and bait do different jobs. A snap trap catches the rodents that walk into it, while bait reaches the ones you never see on the run. Many farm keepers use both, with traps in the tight spots and bait along the walls of the feed room, the aisle and the outbuildings.

How to use it
- Keep the bars in their wrap until you set them out.
- Break a bar into one-ounce pieces. For rats, set 4 to 16 pieces per placement, 15 to 30 feet apart. For mice and meadow voles, set one piece per placement, 8 to 12 feet apart. Put them along walls, by gnawed openings and in corners where rodents travel, and never on food or feed.
- Wear barrier laminate gloves, long pants, shoes and socks when you handle the bait.
- Use tamper-resistant bait stations wherever children, pets, livestock, poultry or other animals could reach the bait, and always for outdoor, above-ground placements. Use it only inside buildings and within 100 feet of them.
- Check the placements on your regular rounds, and replace any bait that has been chewed, scattered or soaked.
- Wearing gloves, pick up dead rodents and leftover bait and dispose of them properly.
- Wash your hands with soap and water after handling, and before eating, drinking or using tobacco.
Good to know
- Snap off pieces as you need them. Leftover bars stay in their wrap for the next round.
- Store unused bars in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and pets.
- Check the feed room, the barn aisle and the area around the brooder house first, since that is where rodents find the most to eat.
- Keep feed in sealed bins, so rodents have less to eat around the bait.
- Pair the bait with snap traps for the tight spots where bait can't go.

Cautions
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Keep away from children, domestic animals and pets.
This product is extremely toxic to mammals, birds and other wildlife. Dogs, cats and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark.
Keep a box on the shelf so a rat doesn't get first pick of the feed room.
